Leatherworking
Leatherworking is a very good profession and you often find Hunters and Druids with his profession as offers many items that are very useful to them as well as others. You really need Skinning if your going to do leather working or are at least have an alt with this profession as Leatherworking uses tons and tons of leather.
I personally think this is the 2nd hardest profession after Blacksmithing to level up, however I am sure some people will disagree.
The main thing for other players that Leatherworking brings to the party is Armor Kits, they are basically alternative enchants and they have a whole bunch of resistances versions also.
Another interesting thing leather workers bring to a raid is Drums, no not to play a beat as you go in to battle (however they do, do that) no the Drums have effects such as restoring health and mana, increasing speed, increasing attack power and spell damage so all in all very handy to have.
They can also make pimp daddy hats, oh yes you can look stylish in your pimped out hat.
